Region Of Murcia

MURCIA - is one of Spain's least known regions. The number of residents living in this region has grown in recent years, drawn by Murcia's attractive mountain villages, the beautiful coastline, Costa Cálida, low prices compared to more expensive Spanish resorts, one of the best climates in Spain all year round. However, despite its growing popularity, the region remains relatively unspoilt compared to the more crowded Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca. Fruits and market-garden products are important to the Murcian economy, and are exported all over Europe.

GOLF - In the past three years the golf industry in the region of Murcia has experienced spectacular growth, and within a short period of time will grow to a total of 20 golf clubs, whose main attractions are the quality of their facilities, the commitment to sustainability of their various projects and their respect for the natural environment.

Furthermore, the region with its current infrastructure and those which are planned, in particular the new international airport, together with its hotel facilities and the leisure offer in general, plus the wide range of services that can be found, combines all the necessary ingredients to become an attractive tourist destination for golf lovers. Our aim is to attract players from the UK, Scandinavian countries and in general those from the EU, where golf is very popular and where a significant demand exists for warmer destinations during certain periods of the year. Moreover, its these golfers whose greater disposable income allows them to visit the region and take part in activities in addition to the sun and beach tourism which our region already enjoys.
